Folding display stands may be useful if you do not have enough wall space to show your art work. I imagine it as an oversized picture album. It should be light and stable.

I was thinking about it too. I dislike the see through ones. I think the "pages" should be solid and painted the same color as your walls. The idea to use the folding display as a frame with multiple openings is cool too. Something like the stand on the picture below.
