Threadless Pine Needle Weaving
A friend of mine asked me if it possible to weave something using short pine needles and not using a thread to connect the basket coils.
After experimenting with needles I found a way to do that. I want to share that technique with everybody who would be interested in this.
I don’t have short needles at hand so I will photograph the process of weaving using long pine needles, but, I must say, it is much easier to do with short needles, because they are stronger and have a strong and sharp end. A stronger short needle goes easier into a loop.
